Our commitment
NoraHire is built so that people are considered for jobs on merit. We do not allow discrimination on our platform because of age, disability, gender, gender identity, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
What we expect from companies
- Write job ads that describe the work and the skills it needs, without words that exclude groups of people.
- Use the same stages and the same criteria for every candidate for a role.
- Make reasonable adjustments for candidates who ask for them, for example in interviews.
- Follow the equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws that apply where you hire.
How NoraHire supports fair hiring
- Clear, shared stages for every application, so every candidate goes through the same process.
- Structured feedback forms, so interviewers rate the same skills for everyone.
- Role-based access, so people only see the candidate data they need for their part of hiring.
- A full history of stage changes, so decisions can be reviewed.
Equal opportunity surveys
Some companies ask candidates to fill in an optional equal opportunity survey. Answering is always voluntary. Answers are kept apart from the application, are only shown to companies as anonymous totals, and are never used to decide on an application.
Asking for adjustments
If you need an adjustment to apply or to take part in an interview, tell the company in your application or reply to their message. If you cannot use part of NoraHire itself, see the Accessibility page.
Reporting a concern
If you see a job ad or behaviour on NoraHire that you think is discriminatory, tell us from the Contact page. We review every report and can remove ads or suspend workspaces that break our Terms of use.
