What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember you between pages, for example so you stay signed in.

Cookies we use

• nh_session: keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, deleted when you sign out, and expires after 8 hours. It holds a signed token, not your password.
• nh_sso_state: protects sign-in with Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn against forged requests. It lasts 10 minutes and is only sent during that sign-in.
• nh_2fa: remembers that you have passed the first step of sign-in while you enter your two-step code. It lasts 10 minutes.

Why we do not ask for consent

These cookies are strictly necessary: NoraHire cannot sign you in or protect your account without them. The law does not require consent for strictly necessary cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner.

All our cookies are marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them, and they are only sent to NoraHire.

What we do not use

• No advertising cookies.
• No third-party tracking or analytics cookies.
• No cookies that follow you to other websites.
