What you agree to when you sign up

When you create a candidate account, you tick a box to agree to the Terms of use and Privacy policy, and to let employers you apply to see your profile. We record the date and time you agreed.

What happens when you apply

  • The company you apply to can see your profile, your CV and your answers for that job.
  • They can add notes, ratings and interview feedback, and move your application through their hiring stages.
  • You can see which stage your application is in at any time.
  • Other companies on NoraHire cannot see your profile or that application.

What employers cannot do

  • See your profile if you have not applied to one of their jobs.
  • Share your data with another company through NoraHire.
  • Use your data for anything other than their hiring, under their own privacy notice and the law.

If you are hired

When a company marks you as hired, your profile and offer details can be passed to that company's HR system so your employment can start. That company is then responsible for that data as your employer.

Sensitive information

Do not add sensitive information to your profile, such as health, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation, unless a job asks for it for a lawful reason, such as an equal opportunity survey. Answers to those surveys are optional and are never used to decide on your application.

Questions or requests

To get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted, write to us from the Contact page using the email on your account. We answer within one month.
